Currencies

Update Currencies

Click this button to automatically update the exchange rates. You should do this once per day.

New Currency

Title — Enter the name of the currency

Code — Enter the abbreviation code for the currency.

Symbol Left — Enter the symbol displayed to the left of the amount.

Symbol Right — Enter the symbol displayed to the right of the amount.

Decimal Point — Enter the character to use for a decimal (e.g., the "." in 1,000.00).

Thousands Point — Enter the character to use for the thousands separator (e.g., the "," in 1,000.00).

Decimal Places — Enter the number of decimal places to display.

Value — Enter the current value in your default currency of one unit of this currency. For example, if the exchange rate is 1.48 euros = US$1.00, then 1 euro = US$0.6756, so you would enter "0.6756".

Set as site default — Use this currency as your site default.

Note that if you change your default currency, you must manual adjust all of your prices. For instance, if you have entered all of your prices in US$ and you decide to change your default currency to euros, a product that was US$1.00 will now simply display as euro1.00 -- CRE Loaded does not automatically convert the currency. Therefore, if you change your default currency, you must enter the price (0.68) in the new currency for each of your products.
